DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will engage in regular communication and collaboration with the Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager 1, and other shift supervisors to ensure consistent care and supervision of residents. You will serve as a mentor to nursing staff, which includes overseeing all aspects of nursing service, advocating for residents, and providing direct clinical supervision and leadership in various resident care areas through planning, directing, controlling, and evaluating resident care delivery. You will establish and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents and staff, as well as promote and foster teamwork among staff members.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40-hours per week Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM with rotating on and off duty days, including weekends and holidays. Work schedule may change based on operational need. Overtime required as needed Free Parking!

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years as a Registered Nurse (commonwealth title); or Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.

Special Requirements: All positions require active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
