DESCRIPTION OF WORK We are actively seeking deeply committed and dependable individuals to become part of our team. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include meticulously portioning and creatively assembling meal trays with nourishing items for the residents. Your responsibilities include assisting with various cooking tasks, preparing food items, and operating machinery, such as food grinders and slicers for luncheon meats and cheeses. Your attention to detail and ability to work as a team is essential for handling special diet orders and tray assembly. You will need to maintain a rigorous standard of cleanliness and hygiene while performing these tasks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM with 30-minute flex lunch break. You will work rotating on and off duty days, including weekends and holidays. Overtime will be as needed Your schedule could change based on operational needs. FREE PARKING! QUALIFICATIONS Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): Willingness to work in South Mountain, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Previous food service worker experience. Experience cleaning, washing, peeling, slicing, and dicing food items; using kitchen equipment such as VCM/food processor/tabletop chopper/garbage disposal; chopping, dicing, and slicing meats, poultry, fish, and cheeses; grilling, steaming, and heating simple foods such as eggs, sandwiches and hamburgers; preparing sandwiches, assembling salads, and serving portions including desserts; preparing and serving hot and cold beverages; cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and work surfaces, selective menu, food cart set-up. reading meal/tray or tags, tray assembly/working on a tray line, operating kitchen equipment loading and unloading food delivery trucks; and transporting food supplies to and from freezers, refrigerators and storeroom. Experience working in areas such as assisted living/long-term care facilities, correctional facilities, hospitals, nursing homes/long-term care facilities, fast food restaurants, family or small chain restaurants, large chain restaurants, cafeterias, school lunch programs, and interacting with patients/residents/customers while serving food or cleaning in a dining room. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
