We are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting transactions, preparing cash flow forecasts, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards. This role is vital in supporting our financial operations and contributing to our overall business strategy.

What you'll do:

• Manage the accounting transactions in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).

• Prepare and post weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, and update cash books regularly.

• Collaborate with the finance team to prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and consolidate payments for the head office.

• Ensure all end of month processes are completed timely, including posting of all journals and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Manage the filing and reconciliation of country tax returns and ensure payments are made within the prescribed deadlines.

• Record intercompany transactions and perform reconciliations.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Ensure compliance with corporate policies when processing new vendor and customer applications.

• Assist with the annual audit process in accordance with the Group and statutory timelines.

• Maintain and update lease schedules as per IFRS 16 regulation

Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate accounting or similar role

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Demonstrable experience in handling general ledger and journal entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP and MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

• Experience in month-end close procedures

• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification would be an advantage.
