This opportunity presents an exhilarating chance to embed and sustain continuous improvement processes/programs aligned with BEx standards at the dynamic QC AT department at J&J Innovative Medicine site in Leiden, the Netherlands.

At Janssen Biologics B.V., a part of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, we are driven by our passion for the development, production, and promotion of advanced therapies and other biotherapeutics to combat and prevent diseases. Our Leiden site thrives on a high-performance culture where innovation and a "can-do" mindset are at the core of our operations.

As the QC laboratories within Janssen Supply Chain, we have the responsibility to support production activities in Leiden and conduct QC release and stability testing for Leiden and other production sites across the Janssen Supply Chain network. To bolster our QC testing, our dynamic QC Advanced Therapies department aims to embrace and implement lean business process standards.

The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

  • Act as a BEx partner providing support to the QC AT department in developing business process standards that align with existing JJPS standards, such as Standard Work, 6S, Digital Performance Management, A3 Problem Solving, and Value Stream Mapping.

  • Drive and lead change initiatives within and across departmental boundaries by leveraging lean & six sigma methodologies.

  • Instill and sustain the 'Managing Site Performance' business process standard within the department.

  • Foster a culture of continual improvement.

  • Increase employee involvement and engagement in process enhancements.

Ensure all continuous improvement projects are executed with the highest regard for safety, quality, and efficiency.
