About the Role We are looking for an experienced Water/Wastewater Systems Modeler/Planner to join our Water Division team and be based in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho. You will help analyze, design, and optimize water distribution systems such as pump stations, force mains, reservoirs, wells, pipelines, and gravity sewers. You will collaborate with our water planning and design team to support modeling and planning activities that enhance operational efficiency and effective designs. You will report to one of our Senior Water Leaders. You Will: Manage planning projects and tasks, leading small multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives. Develop engineering reports, technical memoranda, and planning studies, maintaining quality and relevance to client needs. Provide exceptional client service by communicating and collaborating effectively with public works staff and other partners Support business development efforts within water system planning, identifying new opportunities and contributing to strategic growth. Perform hydraulic data analysis and network modeling to optimize system performance, building and calibrating models to reflect system characteristics and operational dynamics. Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to interpret modeling results, offer insights, and recommend system improvements. You Have: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience in water system modeling and hydraulic analysis. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain it within six months of employment. Software proficiency in multiple hydraulic modeling software and engineering design software such as CADD and Revit. Including proficiency in GIS, EPASWIMM, EPANET, SWMM, InfoWater, InfoSWMM, WaterCAD/GEMs, and SewerCAD/GEMS software. Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $120,000-$145,000+ depending on qualifications. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually.
