About the Role We are looking for a Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) or Geologist in Training (GIT) to join our team. We offer a hybrid work environment in or near Spokane, WA; Coeur d'Alene, ID; or Boise, ID, with additional opportunities to report to offices in Puyallup, Bremerton, Seattle, WA, or Portland, OR. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects related to salmon recovery, stream restoration, and environmentally beneficial work. You Will: Help deliver tasks on complex projects, including preparing designs, drawings, specifications, reports, analyses, and recommendations. Participate in fieldwork, construction observation, and project implementation to ensure quality and compliance. Work with clients, agency staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated designs and project success. Apply skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation In-Roads, or ESRI software for project designs and analysis. Gain experience across multiple disciplines, including surface water, land development, roadway design, transportation planning, environmental permitting, trails and non-motorized transportation planning, and construction oversight. You Have: EIT or GIT certification in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Geology. Demonstrated interest or experience in salmon recovery, fish passage, stream restoration, fluvial geomorphology, hydrology, stormwater modeling, and environmentally beneficial projects. 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred. Experience with MicroStation In-Roads and ESRI software is a plus. Genuine interest in natural waterways, stormwater quality, and environmentally focused work. Entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to impactful, sustainable projects. Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $60,000-$80,000. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually.
