We have been engaged by a diversified firm with holdings in energy, transportation, manufacturing, and real estate which is also one of the largest private companies in California seeking a procurement leader. You will lead and improve procurement operations for the company, which includes 9 divisions and 20 operating companies. This company offers a strong compensation plan with a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(K) plan with matching contribution and other perks.

The ideal procurement leader will bring the following experience and background -

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field

• Experience working for a company in the manufacturing sector

• Experience with ERP's, NetSuite is a plus

• Ability and desire to lead a team and be hands-on with day-to-day work

• Strong communication skills

• Experience negotiating contracts (RFP's and RFQ's)

• Process improvement experience

• Six Sigma certification(s) or training is a plus

• Knowledge of and experience working with BOM's (Bill of Materials)

Pay Details: $150,000.00 to $180,000.00 per year
