West Virginia Employer Electrical Engineer in South Charleston, West Virginia
Electric vehicle manufacturer seeks Electrical Engineer. Salary range $60K-$75K. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. 2 years working with electrical test systems in related field (Automotive preferred). Experience with testing EV battery systems preferred. Understanding of Electrical Vehicle Systems. Understanding of Vehicle charging systems is a plus. Experience with working on real time operating systems is preferred. Good organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn processes quickly and adapt to process changes and implement changes. Constantly analyzing and implementing procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiencies. Proficient with Microsoft Office suites, Google Suites, and other related software programs. Responsible for the design of new product components up to full production. This includes specification reviews, development program timelines and reports, design reviews, simple mechanical designs, documentation packages, preproduction builds and transfers to production. This position will also be responsible for technical support of vehicles post production. This position requires creativity, driven by detail, implementation skills, conceptualization and the ability to thrive in fast paced environment.
