About the Organization:

Our client is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to making a positive impact in the community. They are seeking a compassionate and professional Customer Service Representative to join their team and help further their mission.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for the organization’s clients, donors, and partners. This role is essential in providing exceptional service, answering inquiries, and supporting the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and respond to phone calls, emails, and other communications in a courteous and timely manner.

  • Provide information about the organization’s programs, services, and events.

  • Assist clients and donors with inquiries, registrations, and donations.

  • Maintain accurate records of client and donor interactions in the database.

  • Handle and resolve complaints with empathy and professionalism.

  • Support the organization’s outreach efforts by providing excellent customer service.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure client and donor needs are met.

  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.

  • Participate in training and development opportunities to stay informed about the organization’s initiatives.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service or a related field is a plus.

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a nonprofit setting.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude with a commitment to helping others.

  • Familiarity with nonprofit sector operations and challenges is an advantage.
