Role Description Our Field Service Technician will work remotely or travel to customer sites in the Boston, MA area to troubleshoot and solve customer problems. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing tasks related to IT and Telecom services, including troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, installing and configuring software, and providing technical support to customers. The Field Service Technician will also collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of systems. Qualifications - Strong technical skills in IT and Telecom services - Experience with troubleshooting and repairing equipment - Proficiency in installing and configuring software - Ability to provide excellent technical support to customers - Knowledge of network protocols and systems - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Relevant certifications in IT and Telecom services are a plus Preferred experience in some of these areas with a willingness to learn others in order support the following: - Wide and Local Area Networking management and monitoring (WAN/LAN Monitoring) - Infrastructure cabling Installation - Private Ethernet setup - Wireless Networking - Firewall monitoring - Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) - Camera Installation and Monitoring - Mobile Device Management Solution - Windows and Mac Deskside support - Programmable logic controllers - Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) - Virtual Machine Integrator (VMI) Education: - High school or equivalent (Preferred) Language: - English (Required) License/Certification: - Driver\'s License (Required) Willingness to travel: - 75% (Required) Work Location: - On the road
