What we offer:

· Pay -- We offer a starting wage of $13.50-$14.85 per hour.

 · Company offers up to 4% 401k match after 90 days and 250 hours of service.

· Vacation -- Earn 40 hours after your 1st year of service and 80 hours after 2 years of service and 120 hours after 10 years of service.

· Shift -- 1st and 2nd Shift positions are available. We offer a 4 x 10 hour shift schedule, Monday -- Thursday for 2nd shift, 1st shift is M-F. Opportunities for overtime work.  Mandatory overtime may be required, based on production requirements.

Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator for an exciting company!

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production machines to ensure efficient and effective production processes. Your duties will include monitoring machine operations, adjusting machine settings, performing quality control checks, operating manual, and electric palette jacks, and troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a manufacturing setting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

· Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing the required PPE at all times

· Promote a safe work environment through adherence to OSHA regulations as well as company standards.

· Operate and monitor production machines

· Adjust machine settings to ensure efficient and effective production

· Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications

· Perform equipment PMs and clean equipment

· Troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed

· Operate manual and power pallet jacks

· Maintain accurate production records

 

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

· Strong understanding of machine operations

· Must have some experience performing quality checks

· Ability to follow standard work and read recipe sheets

· Must be able to read a scale and machine instrumentation

· Strong attention to detail

· Ability to work well in a team environment

· Good communication and problem-solving skills

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos

· Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively in small groups

· Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds unassisted
