Agilex Fragrances is a leading provider of custom fragrance compounds and delivery systems serving mid-sized customers. We have an opportunity for a Utility Operator, at our Somerset, New Jersey location, who will be responsible to maintain a clean work environment by cleaning tanks and pots, emptying trash dumpsters, cleaning floors and assist in preparing raw materials for Compounders.

Your key responsibilities

• Collect empty pots and mobile mix tanks from compounders and have a blast washing them in our automated pot washer, along with large and medium mobile mix tanks.

• Dive into the action by cleaning large and medium fixed tanks, plus all the associated pipes, hoses, pumps, valves, and more.

• Get creative by repackaging raw materials as needed and keep our automated compounding robot happy by stocking it with clean pots. Ensure the automated pot washer runs smoothly and safely.

• Safely operate a forklift and have fun keeping our plant floors clean, dry, and debris-free using the floor scrubber.

• Maintain a sparkling clean and safe work area, adhering to safety regulations and procedures, and understanding the hazards associated with chemicals and power-operated vehicles.

• Share your knowledge by training new Utility Operators and lending a helping hand to your fellow Utility Operators. Collaborate closely with Automation Operators to ensure our robot production is at its peak.

  You bring

• High School Degree or equivalency (GED) is required – your education sets the stage for success!

• Prior forklift experience is a must – show off your skills and keep things moving!

• Excellent communication skills are key, enabling you to interact effectively with colleagues and follow directions with ease.

• Ready to handle heavy materials, including drums, with a lifting requirement of up to 60 lbs. – strength and determination are your superpowers!

• Bring your strong commitment to team dynamics and contribute to an energetic and collaborative environment.
