Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Minimum Work Experience
1 year or more experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Required Certifications/Skills * Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date. * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. * Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. * Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Department/Unit Summary
10–14-day LOS, see patients recover and get better, usually return home to their prior status.
Therapy staff is present on the unit to assist with ADLs.
Patients receive 3 hours of therapy per day every day
