Production Team Lead

Job Description

• Operate machining equipment to meet production requirements

• Follow and perform periodic product inspection instructions

• Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain machines

• Complete daily Production Reporting and Downtime Sheets

• Report Maintenance issues

• Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams

• Perform cycle counts as needed

• Maintain 5S standards

• Monitor and coach production employees to work safely and efficiently to ensure production and safety standards are met

• Monitor employees and enforce company policies

• Wrap finished good pallets

• Print labels

• Perform performance evaluations

• Conduct weekly team meetings

Qualifications

• Ability to work on multiple machines and help team members

• Ability to use basic inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer, etc.)

• Willing to work overtime when necessary

• Ability to work on multiple machines

• Ability to exchange information with co-workers and work as part of a team

• Ability to work independently and make independent decisions

• Ability to train others on the job

• Ability to operate a forklift

This is a fully on-site position in Solon, OH.
