A promising opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant in the fast-paced construction industry based at our Solana Beach location. As our Company Accountant, you will be tasked with providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports, and assisting with key financial decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

• Document financial transactions by entering account information and synthesize this information into periodic reports.

• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal legislation and maintain accurate financial records.

• Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls.

• Provide financial advice to management and assist in setting annual/quarterly budgets.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Proven experience as an accountant (preferably within the construction industry).

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing financial reports and statements.
