We are seeking a talentedTrainee Financeto support the KalmarRecord to Reportteam. The position is available on a part-time or full-time basis, with options for 4, 6, or 8 working hours per day.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Support accounting and finance services for selected processes and countries, which may include accounting for and coordination of the month-end general ledger close and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Assist with transactional activities and financial reporting operational tasks under supervision, related to the finance area.

  • Handle ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.

  • Support end-to-end accounting processes: Order to Cash, Invoice to Pay, Record to Report, HR activities, and ensure they are accurately reflected and accounted for in the books.

  • Ensure process compliance.

  • Assist Solution Owners and Process Owners in continuous improvement and the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures within the company.

  • Ensure all client billings are sent out promptly in accordance with the established schedule and include appropriate supporting documentation for reimbursable expenses.

  • Perform basic data entry and conduct general research within department systems to update and maintain account information.

  • Verify data entry of account information across multiple systems and ensure account details are cleared and matched correctly.

  • Support the Supervisor/TL in communication and escalation processes to ensure alignment among interested parties.

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • In the final years of study for a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, or a recent graduate.

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in an international environment.

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Effective time management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Logical thinking and problem-solving ability.

  • Process-oriented mindset.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
