We are seeking a talentedTrainee Financeto support the KalmarRecord to Reportteam. The position is available on a part-time or full-time basis, with options for 4, 6, or 8 working hours per day.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Support accounting and finance services for selected processes and countries, which may include accounting for and coordination of the month-end general ledger close and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with transactional activities and financial reporting operational tasks under supervision, related to the finance area.
Handle ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
Support end-to-end accounting processes: Order to Cash, Invoice to Pay, Record to Report, HR activities, and ensure they are accurately reflected and accounted for in the books.
Ensure process compliance.
Assist Solution Owners and Process Owners in continuous improvement and the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures within the company.
Ensure all client billings are sent out promptly in accordance with the established schedule and include appropriate supporting documentation for reimbursable expenses.
Perform basic data entry and conduct general research within department systems to update and maintain account information.
Verify data entry of account information across multiple systems and ensure account details are cleared and matched correctly.
Support the Supervisor/TL in communication and escalation processes to ensure alignment among interested parties.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability.
What you’ll need to succeed
In the final years of study for a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, or a recent graduate.
0-1 years of relevant experience in an international environment.
Detail-oriented.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Effective time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Process-oriented mindset.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
