Job Overview

Build and support innovative pricing models and analytics to secure transformational deals and drive excellence in strategic pricing and sales operations. Support new and ongoing customer pricing model development, work cross-functionally with a focus on stakeholder engagement, support culture of results-oriented technology advancement and innovation, and drive pricing process optimization leveraging lean principles.

Essential Functions

• Support strategically important pricing model development initiatives that aim to improve the customer experience throughout the entire engagement lifecycle and drive commercial/sales excellence.

• Provide support and assistance on pricing calculations and price levels within the pricing models.

• Assist in defining and developing corporate pricing strategies.

• Perform various pricing analyses to support competitive go-to-market and internal pricing governance.

• Provide advice, support and guidance to other team members as needed.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Information Systems or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Contracts, Proposals, Business Management, Business Intelligence, IT, or commercial systems technology.

• Knowledge of contract research and pharmaceutical development industry.

• Ability to program and QC complex Excel solutions and contribute to developing supplemental or complementary pricing systems solutions.

• Knowledge of costing models and ability to analyze pricing algorithms.

• Knowledge of how pricing systems integrate with other systems.

• Excellent budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills.

• Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to analyze budgets with multiple components and recognize dependencies in complex models.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers in a high-performance environment.
