Quickbase Software Engineer in Test 2 in Sofia, Bulgaria

The Role

As a member of the Quickbase software quality engineering team, you will contribute to the automated testing of our next generation platform. You'll join a team that is passionate and dedicated to ensuring we deliver a product of the highest quality to our customers. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to defining and building automated tests to support end-to-end feature quality

  • Apply defined software quality best practices and testing patterns in order to improve overall quality, speed, and efficiency.

  • Define and/or review test plans/cases to ensure scenarios accurately capture and test required business functionality.

  • Execute manual test cases and perform exploratory testing to ensure features are delivered with the highest level of quality.

  • Propose options for solving testing impediments and seeks input from peers and more senior engineers

  • Collaborate with team members (dev and QA) on identifying testing approach and automation requirements necessary to ensure quality feature deliverables

    • Collaborate and share learnings with other quality mind ed individuals as a part of our Quality Community of Practice.

    Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a software quality engineering capacity

  • Prior coding or scripting experience (Java, C++, JavaScript)

  • ·Experience with UI automated testing using tools such as Selenium or WebDriverIO

  • Understanding of various QA methodologies, tools, and best practices and working in an agile environment

  • Self-directed and self-motivated individual who takes complete ownership of the product and its outcome.

  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab CI, or similar.

  • Understanding and familiarity of APIs, how they work, and their benefit to test automation setup would be beneficial

  • Excellent written and verbal English
