What you`ll do:

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is SAPs multi-cloud PaaS offering and the technological foundation of SAP cloud products. Thousands of customers are running critical business applications on it. Keeping our customers data secure and managing it in accordance with laws and regulations and mitigating cybersecurity risks is of highest importance.

As a Senior Cloud Software Engineer you will be responsible to implement, design and operate tools and services that make DevSecOps for platform developers more efficient. The projects will focus on automating security processes for the collection and presentation of compliance information for external audits and regulations.

You will benefit from SAPs experience in professional software development using the latest software engineering techniques and technologies like K8s, Cloud Foundry, and Gardener.

What you bring:

• A good university degree (bachelor, diploma, master, PhD) in cyber security, computer science, or related fields. Similar qualifications are welcome as well.

• Technical understanding of cloud solutions and their underlying architecture

• 5 years working experience in agile development teams, architecture modelling, designing and implementing software in one or more of the following languages: Go, Java, TypeScript, Python

• Fluent language skills in English - verbal and written

• Knowledge of or interest in cybersecurity and compliance topics are a plus but not a prerequisite
