The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. What you`ll do:

Summary:

We are looking for a Development Expert/Architect to join our SAP EHS Management of Change team and develop new product features using the ABAP developing stack. both in cloud and on premise as part of SAP S/4HANA.The Management of Change solution helps our customers streamline the change processes, drive forward consistency, and integrate with asset management and other environment, health, and safety processes.

The Role:

As a Development Expert/Architect, you will:

• Lead all phases of software development and delivery, including research, prototyping, design, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and support

• Acquire and apply knowledge of SAP development tools and technologies, such as SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 frameworks, ABAP programming language, Core Data Services (CDS), in-memory computing, etc.

• Follow the industrys best practices and maintain high standards for code quality

• Develop advanced product and technical knowledge of development processes and product standards

• Collaborate closely with your scrum development team, sharing knowledge to ensure product success

• Continually enhance your agile software engineering skills and contribute to the improvement of your team and product

• Lead by demonstrating excellence in software development and promoting best practices within your team and beyond

What you bring:

• 5 years of development experience

• Strong expertise in software development

• Experience with ABAP development will be considered as an advantage

• Experience in WebDynpro for ABAP will be considered as an advantage

• Excellent knowledge in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and solid experience in coding

• Good knowledge of user interfaces, MVC concept and UI frameworks based on it. JavaScript, HTML/CSS, UI5 will be considered an advantage

• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, modern cloud architectures, and design of large software systems

• Very good knowledge of databases, relational databases design, and SQL

• Curiosity and eagerness to dive into new technologies, concepts, and tools

• Excellent communication skills, proven both in relations with teammates, partners, customers, and external stakeholders

• A Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
