We are looking for a Cloud Developer interested in microservice development and delivering solutions with Cloud technologies, to join us in building the future of SAP's security products.

What youll do

As a developer in the Compliance Tech Dev team, you will leverage the latest cloud native technologies to build security services which are at the center of our cloud platform with high impact, bringing your ideas to life, shipping code into production and seeing the impact you create, but with the added benefit of knowing you are fighting to protect SAPs customers most critical business data in the cloud.

Your responsibility will include:

• Own cloud services end-to-end, implementing distributed clooud-native systems using GCP services and best practices such as zero-downtime production deployments, canaries, frequent deployments, and test-driven development.

• Ensure security, high availability and reliability of the service.

• Collaborate closely inside the team and with other teams in an international environment.

• Participate in code reviews, sharing your experience and best-practice knowledge with colleagues.

• Learn and adapt to new technologies in the fields of cloud-native development, software security and compliance.

What you bring

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Science, or related field.

• Good development skills in Go (preferred), Node.js

• Common understanding about Kubernetes and container technology

• Demonstrated problem solving and solution building skills as well as the initiative to deliver results.

• DevOps mentality with an understanding of continuous delivery and observability.

• Positive mindset, team player, you enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise backgrounds and perspectives.

• Knowledge of agile software development processes and experience with development processes driven by regular code reviews.

Fluency both written and spoken in English,

Experience with GoLang, Cloud-native technologies, experience with public Hyperscalers like GCP and AWS
