What you`ll do:

Our Global Cloud Adoption and Advisory team is seeking highly skilled professionals to work with us in Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery.

This position is a prominent and influential role as an individual contributor, working directly with our key customers to support their most complex projects. This role combines technical expertise with the ability to collaborate with high-level stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of cloud services across compute, storage, and networking domains. Besides technical delivery, you will be a senior customer ally, able to help them set up excellent cloud onboarding processes, shape relevant internal policies, and use your experience to help them create fully certified solutions that best meet their mission goals. You recognize potential solution gaps in the services offered on the platform and fill those gaps by working closely with respective engineers and architects, thereby contributing to our inner and outer opensource toolbelt. Ultimately you aim towards the goal of becoming a full stack engineer and subject domain expert within the team. You contribute to our documentation by enhancing existing content and creating new playbooks and knowledge base articles to further assist stakeholders in their journey to the cloud.

What you bring :

  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies, architectures and a technical understanding of virtualized system landscapes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and actionable guidance for customers whilst translating for technical and non-technical audiences with confidence.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

  • Strong engagement management, relationship building and de-escalation skills.

  • Excellent presentation, communication and moderator skills.

  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support.

  • Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and methods to move on-prem workloads and processes to Cloud environments, including networking and connectivity requirements.

  • High competency in multi-tasking and ability to manage multiple engagements in parallel.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)

  • Scripting/development experience in: Python, Java, Node.js, Bash, etc.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure solution architecture or related roles.
