SAP Senior Developer | SAP Datasphere Integration Services - Connectivity in So Leopoldo, Brazil

What you`ll do:

As a Senior Developer in the SAP Datasphere Integration Services Connectivity team, you will:

  • In a development team, you will be responsible for the design, coding, testing, and guaranteeing the quality of deliverables. You will assess and solve issues in new or existing code and work with high attention to detail, reliability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with your team members to ensure success.

  • Work with the connectivity framework's scrum team, interact with global development teams from other components, and interact with the central architects of the SAP Datasphere product team to support architecture and ensure that state-of-the-art architecture guidelines and product standards are followed.

  • Work on cloud-native development for microservices architectures.

  • Development activities in Java, Golang, and others.

  • Mentor and guide junior developers to foster their professional development and growth.

  • Since we have many customers with complex scenarios, you will actively participate in customer support and drive incident resolution with development support.

  • Support product owners, managers, and architects in technical discussions.

What you bring:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related fields.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

  • Excellent programming skills and knowledge of algorithms, data structures, space, and run-time complexity.

  • Strong knowledge of modern software architecture principles and design patterns, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in multiple programming languages such as Go, Java, and others.

  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and microservices.

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps methodologies and CI/CD.

  • Willingness to take ownership, drive new developments, and work creatively on challenging and groundbreaking tasks by the highest technical standards, plus a high level of commitment, team spirit, flexibility, and initiative.

  • Knowledge of software quality assurance and test methodologies, including unit and integration testing.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with ETL.

  • Experience with connectivity.
