Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cardiovascular Services Manager is responsible for the complete oversight of the unit and serves as liaison between staff, physicians, and administrative personnel. They work cohesively with the Director to ensure excellence in care, improved quality, and fiscal responsibility. The Manager promotes strong and effective working relationships with other departments within the facility/health system including but not limited to nursing, supply chain, and other ancillary departments. Responsible for maintaining timekeeping system, schedules, accountability records for direct reports.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Registered in Radiography, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing required

  • Current Certification in Radiography with ARRT or Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice or compact state required

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred

  • Leadership experience in a hospital setting highly preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in an interventional cath lab preferred

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

What you will do in this role:

  • Provide managerial oversight for Cath Lab, Echo, and Non-Invasive Cardiology departments.

  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiples tasks and projects in a productive manner.

  • Maintain interdepartmental support and teamwork through a supportive and collaborative approach.

  • Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures, mandatory requirements, and licensure and certification requirements.

  • Meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives as listed in the Performance Management Plan.

  • Establish orientation and annual competency criteria for staff and ensures successful completion.

  • Identify strategic management initiatives.

  • Communicate in an effective and professional manner.

  • Respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues.
