The Customer Service Manager ensures effective and efficient operation of the Customer Service Department, including supporting our customers, sales associates, and delivery associates with any customer-oriented needs.  This position oversees the handling of customer payments, licenses, credits, and pricing, while also supporting the Customer Service Representatives.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; or High School Diploma or GED plus three (3) or more years related experience in business or related field

  • 5 years of customer service/AR experience.

  • 3 years of experience in a leadership / supervisory role

  • Effective communication skills

    Responsibilities

  • Act as an escalation point to answer phone calls from customers, sales associates, and delivery associates and provide support

  • Oversee FINTECH and other electronic payments to ensure payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner

  • Enter Fintech data into Encompass

  • Oversee set up of new customers and update of customer licenses in Encompass

  • Apply credits to customer’s accounts

  • Investigate pricing issues and make corrections

  • Bill sample requests

  • Process customer checks

  • Processes billing for monthly transfer charges

  • Handle returned check payments

  • Bill glassware requests

  • Complete occasional billing of sales orders

  • Manage and mentor the CS team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Identify training needs and provide development opportunities to build team expertise.
