Experienced Cabinet Maker and Shop Manager Needed

Position: Experienced Cabinet Maker - Shop Manager

Location: Raleigh NC area (our shop is in Smithfield)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of our workshop, ensuring efficiency and high standards of craftsmanship.

  • Specialize in the construction of custom cabinetry and furniture, bringing unique designs to life with precision and artistry.

  • Lead the production of custom interior doors, focusing on quality, detail, and bespoke design requirements.

  • Guide, train, and mentor our team of carpenters, fostering a culture of skill development and professional growth.

  • Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to understand project needs and deliver tailor-made solutions.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high-quality standards.

  • Maintain workshop safety, organization, and adherence to industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinet making, with a focus on custom cabinetry and doors.

  • Demonstrated ability in managing a carpentry workshop, including team supervision and project management.

  • Advanced skills in creating custom interior doors and fine woodwork.

  • Proficiency in interpreting detailed blueprints, sketches, and client specifications.

  • Extensive knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and techniques.

  • Outstanding attention to detail, craftsmanship, and aesthetic sensibility.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
