Position: Experienced Cabinet Maker - Shop Manager
Location: Raleigh NC area (our shop is in Smithfield)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of our workshop, ensuring efficiency and high standards of craftsmanship.
Specialize in the construction of custom cabinetry and furniture, bringing unique designs to life with precision and artistry.
Lead the production of custom interior doors, focusing on quality, detail, and bespoke design requirements.
Guide, train, and mentor our team of carpenters, fostering a culture of skill development and professional growth.
Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to understand project needs and deliver tailor-made solutions.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high-quality standards.
Maintain workshop safety, organization, and adherence to industry best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinet making, with a focus on custom cabinetry and doors.
Demonstrated ability in managing a carpentry workshop, including team supervision and project management.
Advanced skills in creating custom interior doors and fine woodwork.
Proficiency in interpreting detailed blueprints, sketches, and client specifications.
Extensive knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery, and techniques.
Outstanding attention to detail, craftsmanship, and aesthetic sensibility.
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
