About the role
You will form the instrumental force that gets our products to our customers. With a blend of creative problem solving and collaborative working you’ll allow our consumers to live healthier lives and have happier homes.
Your responsibilities
You will act as the lead interface to manufacturing sites to resolve supply issues that will impact service to customers
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
Implement and maintain Inventory and Material Management Strategies for all Finished Goods by regular review and optimisation of inventory parameters
Own Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) for country Distribution Centre
Consultation with Production Schedulers regarding availability of production lines, capacity constraints, materials constraints, production challenge etc.
Weekly TC with factory planners following standard call template
Ensure orders placed on External Manufacturing based upon agreed lead time
Conduct regular business and performance reviews with Forecast Managers, Trade Marketing and Manufacturing. Monthly health check process.
Identify and manage potential inventory obsolescence to minimise write-offs (finished goods and raw materials) Prepare monthly finished good and raw materials / pack materials provisions in collaboration with Forecast Manager for approval by Supply Controller.
Accountable for master data for in SNP
Proactive review of potential out of stock situations or supply shortages and recommend mitigating actions
Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and lead corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence.
Carry out monthly supply review with factories to convert unconstrained forecast to constrained forecast based on available supply (S&OP process step)
Quarterly Resource Plan review with key factories
Monitor actual inventory levels vs. targets
The experience we're looking for
Graduate calibre, with supply chain or production planning experience within an FMCG
SNP experience preferred (other demand / supply systems useful)
Exceptional ability to manage workload and identify priority tasks to meet tight deadlines
Strong influencing & communication skill
Ability to build good relationships and challenge constructively and confidently
Ability to consolidate large volumes of complex information, interpret & communicate to stakeholders.
Naturally inquisitive and interested in Reckitt
Confident and capable of operating at all levels and able to resolve conflict situations
Competent with Office 365 tools and information systems with advanced knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint & PowerBI preferable
Ability to challenge the status quo and propose improvement.
Able to apply appropriate problem-solving techniques to evaluate and resolve operational issues.
