Automotive License and Title Clerk Description: As a License and Title Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure the proper documentation and legal compliance related to vehicle registration, titles, and licensing. You will navigate through complex regulatory requirements and liaise with government agencies, dealerships, and customers to facilitate the timely processing of vehicle titles and registrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Title Processing: Manage the process of transferring vehicle titles from sellers to buyers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state regulations.
  • Registration Management: Oversee vehicle registration processes, including renewals, transfers, and updates, to ensure vehicles are legally registered and compliant.
  • Documentation Verification: Review and verify all documentation related to vehicle transactions, including sales contracts, lien releases, and ownership transfers, to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Compliance Assurance: Stay up-to-date with state and federal regulations governing vehicle titles and registrations, ensuring full compliance in all transactions.
  • Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for customers, dealerships, and government agencies regarding title and registration inquiries, providing accurate information and timely assistance.
  • Problem Resolution: Address any issues or discrepancies in title or registration documents, working closely with relevant parties to resolve them efficiently.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of all title and registration transactions, ensuring documentation is securely stored and easily accessible for audits or reference.
