Description We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role will involve designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating optimal cost-effective projects and technologies. You will also provide technical support and service. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Act independently to conduct smaller approved projects, contributing to cost estimating of major capital budget items and the spending of approved project funds

• Contribute to the planning and execution of components of the development process which apply to product revision or enhancement, or a defined piece of a larger project

• Manage routine small projects without assistance

• Investigate and analyze customer service problems and design improvement suggestions, recommending design improvements

• Provide technical support and service, supervising requisitioning, defining, initiating, specifying, documenting, and training

• Utilize knowledge of the basic principles in various engineering disciplines

• Implement Six Sigma quality techniques effectively

• Coordinate contractors and direct the activities of a technician

• Utilize skills in Customer Service, Documentation, Training, Planning, Quality, Design, Supervising, Engineering, Capital Management, Component Selection, Funds, Principles, Enhancement, Disability Benefits, Provide Technical Support, Six Sigma, and USA Cedar.AI. Requirements • Proven experience in the role of a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role

• Proficiency in handling customer service queries and issues

• Ability to document processes and procedures with accuracy

• Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops for team members

• Strong planning and organization skills to manage multiple tasks

• Commitment to maintaining high quality standards in all deliverables

• Expertise in designing and implementing software solutions

• Experience in supervising team members and coordinating tasks

• Engineering degree or relevant field is required

• Familiarity with capital management strategies and processes

• Proficiency in component selection for software development

• Understanding of fundamental engineering principles

• Ability to enhance existing software solutions for improved performance

• Experience in managing disability benefits programs is a plus

• Ability to provide technical support to clients and team members

• Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement

• Familiarity with USA Cedar.AI or similar platforms

• Ability to provide cost estimates for software development projects
