Job Summary

The Social Worker is responsible to plan, organize and implement social work service to participants and families in the Healthy Start program. They will maintain contact with referring agencies and related people, and with community resources used for referral. The Social Worker will complete program-related behavioral health evaluations, and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary program team, will be responsible for education and resource planning and referral management. This Social Worker may also assist with organizing group-based education and community consortium activities. Limited travel may be required.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in social work from a four-year college or university required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• Current license in Social Work in the State of South Dakota required.

Hours

• Day Shift: Monday-Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks

• Occasional weekends and evenings

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $25.00 - $37.75
