Short Staffed Lube Tech in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Perform basic functions such as: oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, replace wiper blades, etc as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy as assigned and in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Inspect and test vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs. Communicate effectively with service team and service advisors regarding the status and any changes to repair order the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required Establish a finished product which adheres to factory and dealership procedures Communicate with service advisor to obtain needed parts Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner Operate all equipment in service area in a safe manner Documents all work performed as soon as the job is completed Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in order to stay aware of rapidly changing technology.
