LifeScape Food Service Worker - Full Time in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

LifeScape is seeking a friendly individual that is passionate about food and providing great services for one of our terrific facilities! If you don't have experience in this type of work, we are willing to teach you! This position is responsible for meal services within our Adult's location in Sioux Falls. Come and join a fantastic team and enjoy helping to serve meals for those that we support!
Here are a few of the job roles that you will be completing as a Food Service worker:
- Assists with production of hot foods
- Prepares special diets (food allergy/dysphasia) for contract locations
- Serves on the lunch line
- Helps with afternoon kitchen cleanup
- Helps put away stock
- Monitors dish room

Requirements
Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience working in a commercial kitchen setting or hospital, school, nursing home environment is a plus, or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge. Experience in a food service customer relations position (server, hostess, cashier) also desirable. ServeSafe (or similar program) certification helpful and will be provided at a later date. Any prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or other chronic health conditions is also preferred.
