Introduction

• The position is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates without professional experience or IT enthusiasts, who want to start their career in the IT field;

• You will be responsible for IT infrastructure solutions implementation, systems integration and management. Delivery of high-quality technical solutions to clients in response to their business requirements.

Your role and responsibilities

• Data center equipment maintenance;

• Building, configuring, troubleshooting and physically mounting servers on racks;

• Troubleshooting, testing and quality assurance of server hardware;

• Racking, cabling and deploying network equipment;

• Handling customer-facing and internal tickets;

• Monitoring and assisting our automated provisioning system for new server orders;

• Troubleshooting and resolving problems with basic network and operating system installations and configurations;

• Shift-based position. 12-hours shifts alternating between 3 and 4 days per week.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Computer hardware knowledge;

• Motivation and willingness to learn highly technical matters;

• Resourcefulness and ability to explain things clearly;

• Due to the nature of the position, candidates must be Singaporeans.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• PC/server/storage hardware knowledge with hands-on experience in building PC and servers;

• Ability to perform classic troubleshooting and change components in PC and servers;

• Knowledge of RAID arrays, storage controllers and ability to explain how they work;

• Fundamental networking knowledge.
