IBM Senior Technical Analyst (Regional Integration Hub) in Singapore, Singapore

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Analyst in Banking .

Job Duties

The Sr. Technical Analyst will support the APAC Regional IT Program Management team to deliver the function's core capabilities and services.

A primary objective will be to work with internal stakeholders to support across business requirements, technology solutioning and review and quality assurance of delivery programs. We are seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on problem solver who is keen to get involved at the early part of an exciting journey for a bank. The role will be involved in some interesting work including innovative prototyping, small projects, and larger programs of work.

Responsibilities

  • The role will need a combination of skill sets cutting technical knowledge, techno functional and business analysis, and project management skills .

  • Designing functional technology solutions

  • Overseeing development and implementation of programs

  • Troubleshooting with difficult technical issues and act as a problem solver for delivery tracks.

  • Create and assist in presenting IT solutions related point of views to APAC CIO organization.

  • Providing technical leadership and support to software development teams

  • Understand company needs to define system specifications.

  • Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

  • Proficiency with some of the Transaction and Corporate Banking platforms - in areas of Cash Management, Core Banking, Cyber Security, Trade, Digital Channels, Payments, Risk and Compliance, API Microservices, Cloud etc.

  • Experienced with deep skills on Regional (multi-country) Integration Program, Boomi / Mulesoft, AWS

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT; Masters preferred etc.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in banking technology.

  • Required project experience in one of the below 3 areas - Core Banking / Host to Host / Regional Integration Hub

  • Experience working with global & regional banks , with deep understanding of banking technology architecture and solutions.

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Able to demonstrate hands on technology coding experience prior to project management in career.

  • Understanding of agile / scrum (preferred with scrum master certifications)

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (https://resources.workable.com/project-manager-interview-questions)

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; will be required to create presentation decks.
