Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Reporting to Site IT Lead

Location: 31 Joo Koon Circle, Singapore 629108

Division Specific Information: PSG Singapore DPD

Position Summary

You will contribute as a member of the PSG IT Ops and Services (IOS) Team to deliver Applications solutions and provide applications support to site in partnership with global IT functions.

What will you do?

  • Deliver Business systems support services in support of business objectives to maintain operation stability and improve productivity. This would include the ongoing maintenance and support, optimization and basic technology consulting and leading and participation on project teams.

  • Partner with the business to drive business process optimization/leaning and mapping and drive business partners towards standard solutions.

  • Understand and analyze existing business processes, identify gaps between systems and user processes, find issues and opportunities, propose process improvement and system enhancements, develop and deliver system solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity.

  • Serve as an internal technology expert and assist with identifying and developing new technology offerings.

  • Ensure availability of assigned applications (e.g., SAP, Sample Manager, Chromeleon, Maximo, Trackwise, Ariba) and support business team for daily usage, enhancement, user management and issue management etc.

  • Respond and resolve Incident and Request tickets for assigned site’s business Application (e.g., SAP, Sample Manager, Chromeleon, Maximo, Trackwise, Ariba, Printing Tool).

  • Check interfaces to ensure alignment between systems (e.g., Maximo, Trackwise, SAP, Blackline).

  • Work and coordinate with global and local IT Teams and vendors to review and resolve system issues in a timely and quick manner to minimize business impact, maintain system availability and reliability.

  • Generate database queries to extract data using applicable reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).

  • Work and coordinate IT projects with global IT teams (e.g., Pharma 4.0 initiatives, business systems upgrades).

  • Perform periodic user access review regarding of assigned applications (e.g., SAP, Sample Manager, Maximo, Trackwise, Ariba).

  • Work with Global and Site Quality and CSV to maintain, generate, review, approve, and control departmental documentation (e.g., user requirements and guidelines, design / configuration spec, IQ/OQ/PQ, system reports).

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How will you get here?

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of work experience in IT applications management and support in a fast-paced and manufacturing or distribution operations MNC company environment, including 2 years of experience in project management.

  • Relevant technical certificate (e.g., Power BI, SQL*Server, IT Project Management) is a plus.

  • Prior experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Computer System Validation (CSV), preferably within the pharmaceutical industry is a strong plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong Business Insight and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to work with business partners to understand and interpret business issues and requirements and translate them into solutions.

  • Good understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / systems implementation processes and project management lifecycle.

  • Ability to work in a team structure and engage functional teams as needed, make decisions, solve problems and analyze, plan, organize and prioritize work and support multiple concurrent applications activities.

  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to a broad audience.

  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to motivate in a team-oriented and collaborative environment and effectively collaborating and managing stakeholders.

  • CSV knowledge in industry practices (e.g., GAMP 5 and ISPE) and FDA and European regulations is a plus.

  • GxP systems (e.g., Trackwise, Maximo, Chromeleon, Empower, EDMS, LIMS, SAP) support experience is preferred.
