Project Manager, APAC Technology Governance Lead (18 months contract)

Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Manage the rollout of a key technology transformation project in the APAC region and ensure that governance (i.e. plan, process, report) processes are in place and consistent with the global standards

Accountabilities

  • Creation and tracking of overall project plan including requirements, development, implementation, testing

  • Accountability for delivery of project

  • Work with respective business streams to ensure there is a clear scope to deliver and clear sets of requirements which enable the business to realize their required benefits

  • Create and manage the project plan, ensure appropriate business readiness activities are considered and planned and delivered; training, and communication activities

  • Work closely with project teams both internal and external (vendor) to coordinate end to end delivery

  • Ensure all governance, risk management, controls and compliance requirements are considered and planned

  • Ensure delivery is completed to time, cost and quality

  • Keep stakeholders informed of day-to-day project statuses, updates, and risks

Skills and experience

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in delivering multi stream projects. Includes experience with project management tools and techniques

  • Experience in change management, implementing new products and services

  • Highly organized and structured

  • Ability to juggle priorities and multi task

  • Ability to deliver under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills
