Position Overview:

Acts as the overall owner for New Product Introduction (NPI) setup and SME for Product Data Management (PDM) in RDC, managing the entire NPI operations which include material master setup, inbound and outbound lane setup and Repack Relabel (RPRL) setup in RDC.

Key responsibilities

With expertise in End-to-End Supply Chain process improvement, this individual will lead the Regional Planning Team and proactively coordinate cross-functional resources required for THREE major areas:

  1. Product data management (PDM)
  • Update and manage the SAP material master based on affiliates’ requirements which includes purchase information record, source list, Use By Date (UBD) and custom tables

  • Manage purchase block and sales block when required

  • Manage the WM View for all materials extended to RDC

  • Manage the Customer Master when required

  • Troubleshoot the operation issues related to master data of materials, barcodes, customers, vendors, pricing and costing

  • Manage master data setup for procedure kitting and all manual labeling requests

  • Generation of accurate master data reports as and when required by RDC team or customers

  • Generation of change history and SOD reports as and when required

  • Acts as the SME for all matters relating to master data in RDC including materials, vendors and customers

  1. New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Oversee all activities related to NPI setups and process: material master setup, inbound and outbound lane setup and Repack Relabel (RPRL) setup in RDC.

  • Review and process NPI request forms submitted by affiliates for lane set up in RDC

  • Responsible to prepare and monitor key performance measures like NPI lead time

  • Maintenance of the NPI tracker tool for capturing of NPI requests, and the NPI dashboard for overall performance

  • Work closely with NPI coordinator in ensuring the RPRL processes are performed timely as required.

  • Analyze the NPI requests trending and drive further improvement for NPI process

  • Acts as the key contact point for all NPI projects

  1. Quality and Compliance Activities
  • For Field Safety Correction Actions, coordinate with Quality team to restrict / un-restrict the transacted batches

  • Creation of batches not transacted for placing restriction, as required

  • Raise and manage change requests to document set up activities in a timely manner

  • Complete and route NPI combined checklist for RDC Quality approval

  • Work with quality team to meet quality requirements on audits, action plans and implementation, for the NPI, Outbound and VAS processes.

  1. Engagement
  • Coordinate with affiliates, regional supply chain team, regional data operations team, finance and ICP team, and operations team to setup master data in SAP

  • Works closely with the Global Data Management Service (GDMS) team to keep abreast of impending product master data changes, MDM strategy and good practices

  • Provide NPI trending and updates to stakeholders in forum such as S&OP

  • Provide NPI training to affiliates to re-inforce the NPI process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or supply chain

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service or data management role

  • Good understanding of the end-to-end supply chain.

  • Strong influencing, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the company in English.

  • Project management experience, with experience in managing projects / programs.

  • Functioning knowledge of quality/compliance, supply chain, operations, and logistics.

  • Analytical and process oriented, with strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills & attention to detail.

  • Candidates with system knowledge (SAP/ databases/ Business Intelligence tools) will be preferred

  • Mastering complexity: Managing complexity/technical accountability.

  • Proven experience with data analytics to identify insights.

  • Results oriented and able to independently create and deliver; self-starter / entrepreneurial.

  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik preferred

  • Green Belt six-sigma / Black Belt preferred.
