We are seeking a Vice President , Product Management Analyst based in Singapore to join our team. Citi Private bank insurance business is experiencing a double-digit revenue growth YoY. To sustain the growth globally, there is a focused effort to drive competitive product & proposition in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, across regions.

This position is responsible to execute client value propositions, positioning, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients. Work closely with the insurer/broker to discuss propositions, oversee competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and work with internal stakeholders in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions.

Additionally, as a part of business development portfolio, the role will drive One Citi value proposition, initiatives and implement strategic partnership with insurers & financial institutions where-in the partners, refer their clients to us looking for holistic wealth solutions. We are already live with three partnerships across Asia, which needs continuous engagement with partners for driving success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers.

  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results. Responsible in assisting in preparation for new product onboarding and campaign launches including approvals from global stakeholders.

  • Launching, and managing the multiple strategic partnership constructs that will lead to client-led profitable scale and growth across but not limited to wealth products distribution, innovative acquisition partnerships, offshore banking propositions and innovative wealth services offerings across client segments.

  • Responsible for leading and executing commercial partnership agreements and involved in partner pitches (both internal and external to Citi), and responses to RFPs. Partnership feeds into the wealth strategies.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial validation and reporting.

  • Co-ordinate functional and controls testing and attestations to meet adherence to applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Includes UAT for digital, technology and day-to-day operational processes where required.

  • Support the Product teams in managing the general insurance business, ensuring effective end-to-end management.

  • Responsible in demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 6- 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the insurance or banking industry

  • Experience managing across stakeholders from different functions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Work collaboratively with global partners in other functional units; ability to navigate a large scale organization.

  • Ability to work under pressure and excellent project management and organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple projects at one time.

  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Working knowledge in compliance laws, rules, regulations and privacy risks in the Insurance sector will be a plus.
