Placement Executive, Energy and Power

What the day will look like
Assist in the broking, negotiation and placement of risks to the re/insurance market
Initiate technical reviews of renewal or new placement plans including negotiations with underwriters
Actively engage with markets on a day to day basis and maintain key market relationships
Participate in new business development initiatives and prospect presentations
As required, run a placement account independently.
Draft broking slip, insurance contracts, endorsements and other relevant broking documents
Prepare underwriting submissions for broking risks to the underwriters
Assist the team in promoting best practices, utilising standardised templates for various documents, archiving of broking files, supporting the peer review process, highlighting and contributing to the resolution of compliance issues
Responsibility to ensure that all broking / placement activity is in compliance with MAS regulations and Aon Company Policy and Guidelines.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Prior experience in Insurance and/or Reinsurance market
Good client relationships with both insurers and reinsurers
Goal-oriented and collaborative amongst the team ensuring open communication; focus on common purpose and active personal participation.
Excellent communication skills; oral/written English proficiency
High motivational, ability to work independently and takes initiative
Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel
