Job Description

Responsibilities and Authorities

  • Perform assembly and testing of instrument and sub-assemblies in an IS013485 environment.

  • Perform instrument basic repair, calibration, faulty part segregation with follow-up activities.

  • Ensure work performed adhere to ISO 13485:2003 and 21- CFR - 820 requirements.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and accurate production outcomes.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment to ensure efficient performance and minimize downtime.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and data integrity in JDE system.

  • Assist Engineers in carrying out validation / evaluations / experiments / investigation.

  • Maintain good housekeeping and enforce to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Provide feedback and give suggestions to improve instrument stability and performance.

  • Assist new colleagues on their On-the-Job- Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy.

Qualification

  • NITEC in engineering fields, or 'N' / 'O' level with strong troubleshooting experience.

Experience

  • 1-3 years hands-on assembly and testing experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with some instrument repair experience. Fresh technical graduates can be considered.

Competencies preferred

  • Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-function teams.

  • Strong mechanical proficiency and technical skills to operate and solve Instrument technical issue.

  • Good eyesight, no color blindness and physically fit and strong

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure

  • Meticulous and attention to detail to follow precise instructions and procedures

  • Knowledge of TrackWise, GMP and JDE.
