We are on the lookout for a Manager in the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI. This role is pivotal in advancing our data science capabilities to bolster enterprise-wide initiatives, in collaboration with our Technology, Marketing, Servicing, and Risk departments. As a Manager, NLP and Generative AI, you will contribute to the development and implementation of cutting-edge NLP solutions that address significant business challenges. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will tap into your expertise in NLP to streamline and enhance automation of key servicing processes, uncover customer insights more effectively from untapped data assets, enhance risk and marketing decisions by leveraging unstructured data and improve our internal operational processes by optimizing and automating essential business workflow. Your contributions will directly impact our strategic goals, driving innovation and excellence in customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of NLP and Generative AI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability across the organization.
Conduct applied research in NLP to identify and deploy advanced techniques that enhance our data science capabilities, focusing on delivering practical business solutions.
Pilot new projects that leverage AI/NLP to uncover insights from vast data sets, driving decisions and innovations that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Implement robust project management frameworks to oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of AI projects, from initial concept to deployment and evaluation.
Foster a culture of continuous innovation by staying abreast of the latest trends in AI and NLP, and actively sharing knowledge and insights to contribute to the collective growth and technical proficiency of the team.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex AI concepts into understandable and actionable insights.
Collaborate with the Technology team to integrate NLP solutions into our existing systems and platforms, enhancing functionality and user engagement.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics).
Demonstrated ability in machine learning, NLP, and Generative AI, with a demonstrated ability to handle projects from inception to completion.
Proven expertise in applying deep learning and NLP techniques to solve complex problems, with a portfolio of projects that have delivered tangible business outcomes.
Good understanding of state-of-art ML and deep learning techniques including transformers, BERT, auto-regressive language models, and other un-supervised learning techniques in NLP
Experience with working with large language models such as chatGPT, Llama, PaLM, Bard, Bloom, Vicuna, Mistral, etc.
Solid understanding of agile project management principles, with experience leading teams and handling projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a creative and analytical approach to tackling challenges and driving results.
