Job title – Lead Specialist GSC Logistics Operations (Contract)

Your key responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are executed in a Timely and Right First Time manner to foster customer satisfaction, and pro-actively communicate delivery related information and mitigation plans (where appropriate) to stakeholders.

• Ensure Transport Service Providers operate in Safe and Compliance (Quality and Business) fashion.

• Review, develop, monitor, and enforce the appropriate Service Level Agreement with Service Providers.

• Engage internal and external stakeholders to align operational imperatives and deliverables.

• Develop necessary logistic reports, records and KPI's and ensure effective implementation, develop, and maintain SOPs and ensure SOPs are followed through.

• Initiate and manage projects related to service, efficiency and / or savings improvements and drive all team members to engage in Continuous Improvement initiatives for their respective area of responsibility.

• Direct and coordinate the distribution from external warehouse to destination site based on incoterms.

• Review escalation of issues from customers' or shippers' and reviews complaints regarding storage and distribution services.

• Review and update freight pricing from forwarders in system as well as managing any form of price discrepancy with forwarders.

• Superuser for distribution related issues in SAP for APAC.

You bring

• Degree holder majoring in Supply Chain or business-related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in International/cross border logistics

• Display good leadership, positive mindset and exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills.

• Accountability to decision-making, ensuring alignment with our values and achieving positive outcomes.
