Job Description

Job Summary: (Overseas travel will be required, mainly in Asia region):

As a Front Office Director, you are responsible:

• For all Sales, Commercial & Business Development activities

• Customer Satisfactions through delivery of service excellence to customers whilst protecting the interest of Safran Helicopter Engines

• Extension of Safran Helicopter Engines footprint and influence through the development of long-term strategic partnership with network partners

For all his/her missions, the Front Office Director ensures the permanent link with the Corporate commercial teams (D2S/C). He/she is in functional contact with the VP Sales and Marketing of D2S

Your primary targets will be:

• to increase Safran Helicopter Engines business, sales and market share

• to establish and develop strong network and working relationship with Airframe OEMs

• to foster the loyalty of your customers, notably through the signature of service contracts ie: SBH, GSP, customized contractual agreements…etc

• to steer the financial revenue generated through your market (invoicing, turnover, gross margin and cash)

Job Description:

• Define and steer strategic plans and actions to sustain business growth through Mid-term and Long-term plans (PMT)

• Define and manage short-term and mid-term action plans to achieve the invoicing / Turnover, Gross Margin Support and Financial objectives of Safran HE Asia

• Develop new business models or commercial approaches according to Asia Helicopter market needs and expectations

• Draw the business forecast in market and follow up on its achievement by managing risks and opportunities

• Projection and consolidation of sales forecast information; cross-functional co-ordination to generate accurate sales forecast

• Monitor and ensure customer satisfaction through all the components of the aftersales market: technical support, responsiveness, service rates, material supply, contract performance, CSO, surveys, KPIs…etc

• Promote and exhibits Safran HE products and services through external events such as Seminars, Symposium and customer councils

• Ensure legal, commercial and trade compliance of all elements; adhering to the Corporate Safran Helicopter Engines policies

• Lead, manage and develop a multi-cultural team with diverse commercial expertise and functions

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent

• More than 5 years of working experience with proven record of management role, preferably in the aviation industry

Specific Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• Ability to evolve in an international environment with strong multi-cultural and multi-client challenges

• Ability to influence a dynamic of revenue growth

• Ability to listen and communicate to manage, convince, influence, embark and motivate

• Self-starter, solution-oriented, proactive, positive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset are required

• Strong interpersonal & communication skills

• Strong business acumen with good data and analytical skills

• Strong negotiation skills

• Knowledge in aviation gas turbines, aviation services and MRO industry will be an added advantage

• Microsoft Office knowledge is required (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
