Role Summary:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for addressing and resolving field issues and warranty complaints while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also support site commissioning, service, and repair activities at customer locations, playing a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
Process and accept customer orders.
Prepare cost estimates according to specifications.
Schedule and manage order timelines effectively.
Prepare quotations for standard products based on predefined lists.
Review and evaluate customer specifications and requirement documents.
Compile and present technical and commercial offer documents.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular interactions.
Provide on-site support to customers during visits.
Address and resolve customer complaints promptly.
Develop and implement technical solutions to resolve unique challenges.
Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Establish safe work environments and adhere to all safety standards.
Perform in-house and on-site repair and service activities.
Deliver technical support and training as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Field service experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word.
Familiarity with SAP modules such as SD, MM, and PP.
Ability to prioritize and adjust daily tasks while meeting deliverable deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to customer challenges.
Organized and efficient, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other technical drawing tools.
Experience serving customers in oil & gas, power, chemical, water, or general industries.
