Job Title: Automation Engineering Intern

  • Location: EVolutive Facility (EVF) at 5 Tuas South Street 2, Singapore 639328

  • Eligibility: Credit bearing internship with 12 months duration preferably (6 months minimum)

  • Others: Company transport provision at designated MRT Station

Fully digitalized, our Evolutive Facilities (EVF) will enable more responsive and flexible manufacturing across multiple vaccine and biological platforms including mRNA, while minimizing our impact to the environment. Our EVFs will help improve people’s lives by giving them faster access to more treatments.

Main responsibilities:

  • Read through the latest available technologies in the Market and discuss with the team to help potentially implement the solutions.

  • Assist with providing automation assistance during design stage for various manufacturing solutions such as Programmable Logic Controllers, Distributed Control Systems, Building management systems etc.

  • Willingness to work closely with Cross functional teams to ensure the requirements are properly captured and implemented to meet the company standards.

  • Develop solutions to reduce manual works and implement ease of operation for daily workflows using Power BI, Microsoft Flows etc.

  • Using technical knowledge to assure the efficient operation of automated processing and information technology systems.

  • Periodically reviews automation documents, performs preventive maintenance, and develop automation Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Assist automation team in maintaining the document repository and Ensure to maintain system life cycle documentation

  • Conveys periodically with immediate supervisor about the Progress and the learning

  • Prepare presentation on biweekly basis on the latest automation trends from different OEM’s

  • Review the process and instrumentation diagram and ensure the instrument list and IO signals match the process requirement.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power/Mechatronics Engineering

  • Should have basic understanding about instruments and their functionality

  • Strong impulse to learn new technologies and should know basics about Power supply

  • Basic Programming (Any language such as C, C++, Python)

  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft office

  • Excellent proficiency in English. (written and spoken)

  • Approachable & team player.
