About the Role:

As a CBRE Engineer, you will be a part of a team responsible for a site’s equipment maintenance and instrument calibration processes.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Carry out inspections, quality control, and supervision of technicians and subcontractors.

  • Deal with incidents, complaints, breakdowns and repairs. Be fully competent in providing engineering, civil/marine structures and technical assessment in trouble shooting, identifying the appropriate causes, review and implement the appropriate solutions to be executed by the sub-contractors and other service providers;

  • Provide 24-hour emergency support by functioning as the initial first response to emergency situations and be familiar and trained in the appropriate process and procedures;

  • Be experienced in handling ACMV issues and familiar as users of the functionality of the IBMS/BMS system’s alarm management module and maintenance module

  • Carry out routine maintenance programs & checklist, SOPs, workplace safety & risk assessments, compliance to house rules of “dos and don’ts”, permit-to-work (high-risk works) for the various works. The maintenance programs shall not pose disruptions, risks or inconveniences to business operations, occupants and members of public.

  • Ensure adequate routine supervisions, inspections and checks on the quality and consistency of maintenance works by sub-contractors.

  • Develop quality management programs to ensure that the quality of works, statutory/critical maintenance regimes, regulatory compliances and all work requests are tracked and monitored. Where necessary conduct joint Audit checks for areas of repeated or persistent problems.

  • Develop safety plan to ensure the Properties are kept safe, secure and running effectively and able to support 3rd party contractor to carry out works such as PUB, SPPG, Singtel, R&R Contractors, etc.

  • Carry out subcontractor & vendor management to ensure the engagement of appropriate professional disciplines, specialist and subcontractors with sufficient experience/track records and their performance are met.

  • Develop a reporting regime to ensure recording, tracking and reporting on performance status under this contract, tracking of authority compliances, the contract financials (work orders, variation orders, SOR, quotations and payment, etc.) at monthly intervals.

  • Any other work necessary for effective operations of the Properties or as directed by the Client.

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum Diploma in a relevant field with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
