The Cluster Assistant Accountant assists the Cluster Accountant in the supervision of the Hotel finance office, pertaining to all computerized accounting systems, month-end closing reports and general ledger reconciliation.

What will I be doing?

As the Cluster Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and review problematic accounts. Direct staff in follow-up of accounts.
• Assist with month-end closing process as directed. Mainly focus on Accounts Payable, Cost Control and General Ledger function.
• Ensure all reports are submitted promptly such as weekly bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation and etc.
• Conducts and track Hotel Outlet’s beverage inventories on monthly basis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly food & beverage reports.
• Work with Cluster Accountant and assist in the supervision of Hotel Finance Accounts Payable teams, assigning tasks and giving guidance, monitoring accuracy.
• Assisting on quarterly GST submission.
• Handle special project assignments as requested by the Cluster Director of Finance or Assistant Director ofFinance.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Hospitality industry.
• Good organizational skills, attention to details and good interpersonal skills.
• Flexible with working hours and able to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
• Proficient in English to meet business needs.
• Proficient in MicrosoftWindows, Word, Excel, etc.
