Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for a Network Engineer with experience in networking, Cisco, ASA firewalls, IOS, CLI, etc. If this sounds like your background, then this Network Engineer role is for you. For this opportunity, you will work near the Simi Valley, CA area.

Position: Network Engineer

Hours/Duration: 40 hrs/wk, M-F, CTH or FTE

Notes:

• Cisco – more Command Line (less software-defined networking), IOS, Routing/Switching, ASA Firewalls, Legacy Cisco, some Meraki (Cloud)

• Support Wireless Networking

• Understanding of Network Security

• CCNA / CCNP level of experience (Mid-Level), Active Cisco Certifications (preferred)

• LAN/WAN Concepts

• 50% of the work is done in Westlake Village at the client site

• 50% of the work is done internally at AllConnected’s office

  Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role

• Proficient in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Checkpoint

• Extensive experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and Cisco Technologies

• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management

• Proven experience in Design and Eigrp

• Expertise in Firewall Technologies and Cisco CCNP

• Hold Cisco Certification and Cisco Certified Network

• Demonstrated skills in Cisco Networking

• Familiarity with LAN - Local Area Network and Cisco Wireless

• Knowledge of Wireless Communication, Wireless Connectivity, and Wireless infrastructure

• Experience with Wireless LAN, Wireless Networking, and Meraki is a plus

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently when required

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
