Job Title: NDT Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing parts and interpreting findings according to internal and external specifications and requirements. This role involves setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting tests, and documenting results using appropriate procedures.
Responsibilities
Process parts and interpret findings in accordance with internal and external specifications and requirements.
Follow established NDT technique sheets and ensure any revisions to established techniques meet internal and external requirements.
Set up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, and interpret, evaluate, and document results.
Perform failure analysis, product development, R&D, and production utilizing digital RT & CT.
Reconstruct and compile data.
Check required dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection devices.
Essential Skills
Experience with NDT techniques such as Ultrasonic, X-ray, and Penetrant testing.
Proficiency in assembly, testing, and inspection.
Ability to interpret blueprints and apply GD&T standards.
Knowledge of ISO 9712 standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must be able to read and communicate in English.
High School Diploma required.
BA/BS required if intending to pursue leadership roles.

Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift position, with training on the 1st shift. The 2nd shift hours are Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (1st shift: 5 AM - 1:30 PM). The work environment is a manufacturing setting, occasionally loud, requiring steel toe shoes and safety glasses. The initial assignment is 90 working days (approximately 4 months) as a temp-to-hire. Attendance is crucial, and tenure is highly considered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00
