WesleyLife Director of People and Culture (HR) in Silvis, Illinois

Description

As the Director of People and Culture, you will:

  • Manage and actively participate in the recruitment process for IRC, ensuring we are providing a high-quality experience for both our applicants and hiring leaders.

  • Implement WellSpire’s standard, comprehensive new-hire orientation process to enable successful on-boarding for new team members.

  • Work with the community’s administrative team to ensure benefit information is keyed into appropriate systems and carrier information is up to date and accurate.

  • Consult with leaders and serve as a resource to IRC’s leaders regarding performance management and team member relations issues.

  • Serve as the primary workers’ compensation contact for the community. Work with work comp carrier to establish a safety program, collaborate with the leadership team in deploying effective strategies within IRC, ensure all needed documents are processed timely and correctly, and provide general oversight to each individual situation to enable quick return to work, where practical, ensures claims are filed appropriately.

  • Collaborate with home office to develop and deploy team member education and leadership development programs and processes.

  • Track, analyze and reports people and culture metrics to the community leadership team and to home office. Consults with the leadership team to develop specific action plans to address areas of concern related to the metrics.

  • Handle compliance-related issues the community.

Education

Preferred

  • Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration

Experience

Preferred

  • 5 years: Degree in Human Resources Administration

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple functions and schedules under stress and with changing priorities with the ability to meet ongoing deadlines required.

  • Must demonstrate a passion to act as a champion for change within the industry, the ability to lead others through change and the ability to make decisions that lead toward new approaches and ways of thinking.
